Sandrine Osman starts her apprenticeship in 2001 with Xenia Friez in Etampes, following in the meantime Art history and archaeology cursus at the Sorbonne.
A year later in 2002, she goes to Newark School of Violin Making and receives her diploma in 2006.
After her studies, in the purpose of improving her skills, she goes to New York where she works with Brice Dupin de Saint Cyr and then to Tel Aviv with Amnon Weinstein. In 2007, she also works for the Non-Governmental organizations « Violin makers without border », in Cuba.
She then comes back to Paris, where she continues to learn restoration’s technics at Pierre Barthel’s workshop and during courses with Jean-Jacques Fasnacht, Iris Carr and Anna Ediger.
In 2008, she joins Pierre Barthel’s workshop.
Her formation allows her to work as well as a maker, restorer or at working with musicians for sound adjustments.
